McConnell optimistic of tax bill deal between Senate and House

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Senate Republican chief Mitch McConnell reported on Sunday that he is optimistic the Senate and Residence of Representatives will access a conference settlement on tax legislation that can be signed into legislation by President Donald Trump.

“We’ll be in a position to get to an agreement in the meeting. I‘m really optimistic about it,” the Kentucky Republican instructed ABC’s “This Week” program.
